The reports for the 4th and 5th years of Edward II differ considerably from those in the printed editions of 1562 and 1679, but the text of the remaining portion is similar. In general, where differing from the printed text, this manuscript agrees with Harleian 3626 and Add. 12270 (B.M.); with the exception of the marginal notes, which are more numerous in this manuscript than in the Museum copies. Names of persons and places appear to be less corrupted in this copy than in the printed copies.
